Golghar

Patna

Golghar, an iconic dome-shaped granary built in 1786, is one of Patna’s most distinctive landmarks. Designed by the British engineer John Garstin, the structure was intended to store grain during famines. Its massive, dome-like appearance and panoramic views of the city from the top make it a popular spot for visitors and a symbol of Patna’s architectural heritage.
