Anand Bhavan is the ancestral home of the Nehru-Gandhi family and now serves as a museum showcasing memorabilia of the Indian independence movement. The museum provides an intimate glimpse into the life and times of Jawaharlal Nehru, India's first Prime Minister. The adjacent Swaraj Bhavan, where the Indian National Congress sessions were held, is also worth visiting for its historical importance.
